Site Usage Grows Past 16.6 Million Pages! PDF Print E-mail

On Tuesday, 23 December, the site passed the 16,600,000 lifetime page mark. You will notice that the counter on each page now reflects the number of pages served over the 12 year lifespan of the site. It is only through the grace of God and the support of those users such as yourself that have made this site the success it has become. God bless you and your family as you enter the Christmas season and into the New Year!

 
Site Successfully Moved! PDF Print E-mail

We are happy to report that the site was successfully moved from SiteGround to BlueHost last week. This was done because the former host threatened to take the site off-line because it was using too many resources on their server. The new provider does not have usage policies that pose a real threat to the availability of the site. We are still testing the integrity of the site but feel that the site is stable enough to reopen.The only section that is not reliable is the Bible Search option. We are currently working on this service. If you notice anything else unusual, please let me know by leaving a message on our new forum.

Chap. 1 - Good News of the Kingdom

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom. Matt. 4:23. {AG 9.1}

"He opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 5:2, 3). As something strange and new, these words fall upon the ears of the wondering multitude. Such teaching is contrary to all they have ever heard from priest or rabbi. They see in it nothing to flatter their pride or to feed their ambitious hopes. But there is about this new Teacher a power that holds them spellbound. The sweetness of divine love flows from His very presence as the fragrance from a flower. . . . {AG 9.2}

Chap. 1 - Happy New Year!

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Ps. 90:12. 

Another year of life is now in the past. A new year is opening before us. What will be its record? What will we each inscribe upon its spotless pages? The manner in which we spend each passing day will decide this question. . . . 

Let us enter upon the new year with our hearts cleansed from the defilement of selfishness and pride. Let us put away every sinful indulgence, and seek to become faithful, diligent learners in the school of Christ. A new year opens its unsullied pages before us. What shall we write upon them? ...
